Apple Discontinues $4,000 Mac Studio Upgrade
Mac Studio: The End of an Era
Apple has decided to discontinue the upgrade of its renowned Mac Studio with the M1 Ultra processor, which was priced at a mere $4,000. This powerhouse with a 48-core GPU boasted performance the world had never seen. Well, perhaps it wasn't enough, or maybe it was too much? Who knows.
In 2022, we witnessed benchmark performances that shattered records and promised limitless possibilities. But as it often happens, even the best offerings sometimes fall victim to the hard realities of numbers and dollars.
With 2025 in sight (or perhaps already here as you read this article), Apple is twisting with further innovations. I'm talking about the M4 Max and M3 Ultra, which are rumored to change the game for the entire PC enthusiast community.
Of course, this means an end for the old familiar M1 Ultra. Thanks for nearly two years of loyal service. Perhaps during these years, you've encountered long-term reviews that have sung praises of its astonishing performance and capabilities.
And so, as the saying goes; the king is dead, long live the king. Let's prepare for the next chapter. Apple is surely cooking up something spectacular that we can only dream of!
